Spotlight: Cancer researcher Kimberly Blackwell
Kimberly L. Blackwell, M.D., associate professor of medicine and director of the Clinical Trials Program in Breast Cancer, led a large, Phase III clinical trial that showed combination-targeted therapy (Lapatinib plus trastuzumab) prolongs life in patients with HER2-positive breast cancer.
